Have you ever gone shopping for furniture, lights, curtains etc?? I have, and I must say its really tiring. First I go measure the areas of the house and make all the markings, then head off to the furniture stores, and even the internet to guide me for items, and measurements and colors. I've gone a little far in paying a deposit for a plank of timber which I drive around in my car all the time to find items that go with it... I didn't say "Match''... I said "to go with" and finding rugs and lights that suit and fit the house. I know when someone enters my home, they'll say that I have some sort of "great style".
The same goes with a wardrobe. Fit, Fabric, Color and Texture is all important. We all have our own style. But there's a way to do the 80s in a more modern way.
If you're unsure of an item you bought, keep the tag on and don't forget your receipt. Try it on at home and take a photo of yourself using your cellphone camera (everyone has one), and take a look at the photo after five-ten minutes. If you don't like it, then you're never gonna wear it, return it ASAP.
